What if we could make "using less single-use plastic" MAINEstream?

I am continuing with the Less Single-Use Plastic States designs and I just completed MAINE. I am now adding special rending of these designs as fine art prints. For these, I am refining the colors and removing the logo. I know there is a debate about fine art and graphic art, but my definition as a former art teacher and as an artist is that fine art can be produced in any medium. The simplicity of these designs makes them actually quite challenging. It reminds me of a writer who edits and edits and edits. That is what I do with these designs. In the end, they look simple, but the time behind each one to get the right line to say the "right" thing visually and to get the colors to speak that as well is really a challenge for me. Actually, that is why I love creating them. With each one I ask myself, does this express what I want it to?  Would I like to hang this on the wall in my space? If the answer is yes, I feel complete and I list the framed prints. If you'd like to frame yourself, you can purchase the fine art graphic prints giclée printing techniques.

About "MAINE" Design #81: When I think of Maine I think of rocky shorelines meeting the deep, and sometimes rough, blue-green Atlantic waves. I also think of how this combination of cliffs and shore is often unpredictable, and therefore mysterious in nature. The seasonal changes add to that mystery when the ocean changes from an inviting escape where many people flock to, to a more isolated place of solitude. All of these things lead me to the shapes and color choices for this design. The muted blue-green grayish moon for mystery, the royal blue wave, and the green line to represent the rocky cliff-like shore that is full of evergreens.

Maine is one of the states that has a plastic bag ban. It went into place in July of 2021. To learn more about this you can visit this page on the Maine Department of Environmental Protection website. https://www.maine.gov/dep/news/news.html?id=5010879

And from this website I read this staggering statistic:

"According to the Centers for Biological Diversity, consumption of single-use plastic bags in the US is estimated to average a bag a day (365) per person per year and the EPA estimates that in 2018, Americans generated nearly 9 billion pounds of PE films, bags and wraps annually."
