Let's all "BUCKLE TO" Less Single-Use Plastic

Design # 92 is called "Buckle To" I did not intend it to rhyme, but life has a way of offering fun surprises. Here we go to the west with a design that shows a Bay-colored horse rearing in front of a burnt-red sun. To encourage our change into more sustainable habits I am using the western slang term " Buckle To" which means to set about any task with energy and determination. The first idea I had was a T-shirt called "Cowboy Up" and after giving it a second thought I decided that that message was a bit too strong for what my intention is. Using less plastic should not be that hard. In fact, as progress on my journey, I am learning new and easy ways to choose less.

One change I have made is with produce. If it doesn’t need a bag I simply toss it in the cart and if it requires a bag I use one of my own. Produce is thoroughly washed at home before cooking so it’s not necessary to "bubble-wrap" it. It's such a waste to put a few lemons in a plastic bag and then go home in less than an hour and toss the bag. Even if you re-use that bag, it eventually becomes waste that is not biodegradable. Be brave, thow those lemons in your cart! It won't hurt them.
