Reaching the goal and looking forward
I have been diligently working towards my mission and goal since January of this year. I set out to create 365 designs and I fully intend to reach that goal. I am getting caught up with my designs. I had 4 months this summer that I shifted gears to focus on a loved one who needed my care. This was far more important but I am glad to be back at the desktop with Photoshop/Illustrator and Canva and the ideas keep flowing.
Something very serendipitous happened last week that I would like to share. I started to think about how many more designs I needed to create to reach my goal.
1. I added up all of the designs that were in the sketch stage that needed polishing.
2. I added all of the states left to do in the "United States Series".
3. I counted 63 designs left. I had an idea that perhaps I would also do National Parks. I looked up National Parks not knowing how many there are and guess what? 63! It is meant to be.
So my plan is to finish all the in-process designs, and to finish the state's series, and also to create the National Parks Designs. The above picture is a sneak peek of those. I will be featuring some in a calendar.
When I am done with that I will turn my attention toward other artists and designers who want to add to the body of work to promote Less Single-Use Plastic.
Speaking of working with others I could sure use a volunteer:
