FUR SEASONS & Recycling Plastic Dog Food Bags

About "FUR SEASONS" Design #52 My brother Matt is a mosaic artist. working primarily in reproductions of comic covers.  This one he created for the love of dogs and named it the fur seasons. He has two Golden Retrievers (soon to be three with a new puppy arriving soon) in his family. This design is a perfect gift for dog lovers. This design is available on a water bottle or a tote bag. 

Dog food mostly comes in plastic bags, and  I realize that this is a good material as large amounts are heavy and therefore need to be strong. I wondered about all of the plastic waste and I recently learned of a recycling program by Earthborn which is the food I buy for my retriever.  I could not find a participating pet store in my area that was participating in the program so I called the manufacturer to learn more about the program and then wrote to my local store to request that they join. I was so thrilled yesterday when I was there to see the collection box so now I can recycle the bags properly and I know that they will be made into dog toys and other useful things.

If your local pet store is not participating, I invite you to make a suggestion that they do.
