Eco Laundry Tip
While doing laundry this weekend, I was thinking of a change I made a while back. I no longer buy stain remover in plastic bottles. A laundry bar of soap works just as well. There are lots of alternative ways to do laundry economically—that bar lasted so long! You can even shred the bar and make your own detergent. And a bar of laundry soap takes up less space, stores more easily, and is lighter to lift. To use it as a stain remover, simply wet it, and rub it on the satin. And there are many brands of laundry soaps—some have a delightful fragrance or lemon or lavender, but there are unscented ones as well. So say goodbye to bulky plastic containers, and discover for yourself how a bar wrapped in paper makes So Much More sense. . . in so many ways.
